Rollcentre had a 'baptism of fire' in their new Mosler Cup Car, that was literally finished one day before the Silverstone 24 Hour race. However it ran as high as second, before being forced to retire with 'new car electrical gremlins'. It did prove to be fast, and hopefully it will be back next year to try and repeat the Mosler's original win, at the first Britcar 24 Hour race.
Among the exotica at Concorso Italiano was this new Zagato-styled and Hi-Tech built GT Prototype. The production version was at the Geneva Show as an AC 378GT Zagato, which will be part of the relaunch of the famous AC brand.

Noble's M600 gained Autocars accolade as one of the "Top 10 cars of 2009" in the Christmas issue. James Corstorphine said "....... by virtue of focusing on the basics the M600 succeeds. It understands what matters to those concerned more with driving a supercar than posing in it, and gets those elements so wonderfully right."
Martin Short and The Rollcentre Team in their LMP1 Pescarola had a very successful Le Mans, being the "First Privateer Team Home", and "The First British Team Home". For most of the race they ran a strong third in the 'Petrol' class, as the seven factory Diesel Cars (Audi and Peugeot) fought for ultimate victory, in a very close race. The Rollcentre car spent a total of 47 minutes in the pits (re-fueling, tyres, etc) which was less than two of the factory Audis!

Martin Shorts Rollcentre Pescarola was the First Privateer car home, and finished 4th overall! at Le Mans in 2000, behind the Works Audi, Peugeot, and French Pescarola. A fantastic achievement for such a small team - Well Done. (Photograph courtesy of David Lord Photography.)
The Noble M15 (Prototype) for the M600 was at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and drove "up the hill", and has been tested by The Stig on Top Gear.
The Radical tucked in behind those diesels, at the end of a long 24 hours.
The Noble Owners Club, had its first event at Brands Hatch - a track day event for Noble Owners. It was a great day, enjoyed by all those that attended.
Winners of the first Silverstone 24 Hour race. Our Customer Nick Jacobs had his "baptism of fire" as the fourth driver in the Rollcentre Mosler, and found himself with Martin Short, Shaun Balfe, and Jamie Derbyshire on the top step of the podium. Lee Nobles M12 went well until its engine ingested a foreign component, and it was "game over" for Lee and his Team.
At Silverstone there was also a big Noble parade around the track, of 72 Nobles.
As Richard bathed in the glory of his new DB9 Volante, did he know that Terry was nicking his dust caps?
In a recent Autocar, Chris Harris wrote "Every time I drive the M400 I find myself conjuring up reasons not to buy one, and they become flimsier by the month. There is no other car like it: last year at Brands I had a six-lap dice with Jay Kay in his Enzo."
Mole to Le Mans: Mole set off for the annual trip to Le Mans, and managed to blag a new Mosler MT 900 - road going version, of the awsome GT winning race car! The car featured in the Le Mans parade.
Our customers Nick Jacobs and Rupert Douglas Pennant, who co-opted Martin Short into their car for the Nurburgring 24 hour race, and not only finished this grueling event of 200 cars, but won their class!

At Rockingham at the Noble Owners Day, and 70 Nobles lined up for a picture on the grid, including the creator Lee Noble.
...Whilst Charles was off in a meeting (at the Geneva Motor Show), Terry was looking around for the next attractive franchise... we think the car was called a Stolla!
In a recent Autocar, Arash Farboud (Owner of the Farboud Motor Co) was asked "what achievement by a rival are you most envious of ? "...His reply " I'm envious of Lee Noble for the handling characteristics of the Noble M12 ".
An email received from a happy customer in his Noble M12 " I thought you might be interested in last Saturday's experience in the M12. My wife and I drove from Leatherhead to St Bees (Cumbria) and back (760 miles) in the day with absolutely no problems despite freezing fog on the way up. The car behaved impeccably and returned 26 mpg despite inadvertently going slightly north of the speed limit!....it was really comfortable...the car was a real hit at my uncle's 90th birthday bash and he welcomed the chance of going for a spin (as a passenger !!)."
On Fifth Gear - live internet chat Tiff Needel was asked:-
Enthusiast "What's been the best car that you have been driving around your test track ?"
Tiff "I suppose on our test track the Noble M12 takes some beating".
In the Sunday Times, Andrew Frankel drove the NOBLE M400. He said "one of the finest- handling cars of any size, and at any price. It offers eerie ride comfort, and it changes direction like an escaping POW dodging machinegun fire. Grip levels are beyond what you'd ever use on the road.....So if you think £56,000 sounds a lot to pay for a car..I'd have agreed with you. But if you drove the M400 I suspect you'd change your tune too".
From our main racing car sponsor " I would like to express the hope this season that, if I step into a car, as passenger, that has any Mole Valley decals on it, that the "Driver" (and I use the term loosely) does not head for the nearest Armco/tyre-wall/grass-verge/any combination thereof. Answers of 'tyres went off' (Shorty), 'its quite greasy out there' (Moley), 'I'll just get past that Z3M before the corner' (Shorty), or 'that was an awful line that Porsche took' (Moley) are not acceptable". From Mr Mole after a track day at Silverstone - " I would like to request that our main sponsor does not attempt again to go through Copse corner in a Mosler backwards , with me in the passenger seat".
According to Auto Express this logo appeared on the TVR Press Demo at Oulton Park. "A company spokesman told us the badging has been a big hit with customers" , or in the immortal words of Christine Keeler " He would say that wouldn't he " !
On the UKTV awards programme, the presenter said "You dont often see a Noble on the road, but when you do, you know that it is being driven by an enthusiast".
Our Demonstrator GTO 3R and race car at Thruxton. Driven by Martin Short & David Mason , we gained pole position, lead both races, and took fastest lap.
Top Gear last gave the Noble the accolade of "Best British Car", with Morgan - Top Gear presenter's Richard Hammond's favourite!
Noble and Mole Valley had another great day at Rockingham, with our M12 customers.
At Brands Hatch, we won the last race, and secured the 2003 GT Championship (full report and pictures on our Racing Page)

Morgan announced record sales in 2006, 2007,2008, and 2009. They will try and increase production slightly for 2010 and 2011 to take account of the worldwide demand for new Morgans. Currently the new 4/4 Sport has a two year wait, which Morgan do not want to see increase.

Jeremy Clarkson in the Sunday Times "I am too gay to own a Tuscan R "
John Travolta on the Tuscan "It took my breath away when I first saw it. It's certainly one of the best looking cars I've seen. There are so many things that are beautiful on it.....sure I got to drive it - it's more like a race car than a street car.... I loved the way it looked in the car chase... it's so charismatic. It reminded me of the Aston Martins in early Bond films.Cars in those days were characters. I see the TVR as a character...."
Simon Pullan on the Podium after his maiden win, in the Tuscan R at Brands Hatch-" I was content to sit behind Callum Lockie in the new Ferrari, but he was going so slowly I had to overtake him!"
