Built in 2014, this Defender represents the final iteration of the classic version of Land Rover’s perennial model before it ceased production. As such it’s the most modern mechanicals that you’ll find in a factory built classic Defender, making it amongst the most usable and desirable! The previous owner was fastidious about keeping his vehicles in the best possible condition and so it is outstanding. One example of his attention to detail is the replacement of the exterior bolts with stainless steel items as he didn’t like the surface corrosion on the standard items. It’s also recently been Waxloyed underneath and the result is a modern Defender in a condition that is surely amongst the very best available and, if recent trends continue, one which could be a shrewd investment. At some stage this Defender has received the attention of TMD tuning whose insignia appears on the dials and the combined effect of Land Rover and TMD has been to create a very upmarket feel indeed. Everything works as it should, including the air conditioning, and the Alpine Bluetooth stereo provides the necessary punch to make itself heard.
